"MADNESS PARIS-DAKAR - THE HARDEST RALLY IN THE WORLD" German softback telling the inside story of the 1983 Paris-Dakar, won by Le Man hero Jacky Ickx in a Rothmans Porsche 911. The author was part of a film crew sent to cover the event and (from my translation of the text as a non speaker of German) travel with one of the teams along with it's support truck - themselves competing. This then is a record of one of the first 'Dakar's to fire the public imagination with the epic scale of the event. Rare in Britain . Very good condition book 230 pages.
