A super period account of a French Motor Tour made by three American enthusiasts, including a former president of the Automobile Club of America. The first chapter entitled: "Three Men in a Boat", courtesy of J.K.J's topical literary success, covers their Ship's passage prior to their European adventure which then included a visit to the holders of the Gordon Bennett Trophy at that time , driver Leon Thery and cars builder Brasier. This particular book is inscribed by the owner (Valentine G. Hush) as having been given to her father by his friend W E  Scarritt. The book is in good condition apart from a  faded spine and has a charming illustrated cover.  268 pages, plus many period photos .
