This book covers that special period, the ten years following WW1, when some of the finest sporting and fast touring cars were produced. These cars from many parts of Europe & America were often enhanced by superb lightweight bodies from the best Coachbuilders of the day. Within just a few short years of the end of this era, with mass production becoming the order of the day, enthusiasts banded together to preserve these cars for their pleasure in the knowledge that once lost, cars of this quality would rarely be seen again. Hence the 'Vintage Movement' came into being and this book highlights the merits of performance and quality of some of the very best. A great book from the knowledgable 'Pen' of T.R. Nicholson, himself a keen enthusiast of long standing.
NOTE: we have two different library editioins show here, one has no jacket and is in very good condition indeed, minimal sign of being a library book. The other has a laminated-on jacket as you can see from the image, it's slightly more 'library' looking generally. Same price... take your pick!
