Hefty 772 page hardback charting the latest developments in world railway technology from streamlined diesel engines  to huge new bridges. Constructed like a magazine (it may have originally been one) with assorted feature articles and  profiles, news and illustrations. The spine is missing from the binding (although the binding remains firm) the book itself is clean and smart for it's age.
