1978 Update of the author's "The Man and the Cars" from the 1960s with additional material by Michaerl Cotton. Ferry Porsche was highly an influencial in car design and Benz, Austro-Daimler, Auto-Union (The GP Car) and of course the VW Beetle, all benefited from his direct input - although he in turn adopted many features of these designs from Ledwinka the Tatra designer.The book charts his life and then that of his compamy which grew from the immediate post-war chaos into a world leading brand name. 279 pages Very good condition book , spine and back cover a little faded (common with this title) jacket.
