A surprisingly well illustrated book for it's time that details all aspects of International Motor Racing as it stood (mid 1930s) with a delve back into the brief history of the sport. There is good coverage of road racing, US oval tracks, speed records, hillclimbs etc. Wonderful quality photos. 116 pages there are 132 Photo plates of the period action. The book is in good condition,a little foxing of the early pages , Jacket has areas of paper loss at the corners and more so at the top and bottom of spine . Rare to have any jacket at all so quite a bonus!
