..."& Sports Car Racing During the 1950s & EARLY '60'S" Second, enlarged edition of a remarkable collection of the Mintex brake rep' Lional Clegg's photos of F1, Le Mans and more , because almost all are in colour, which was rare for the time, even among professionals. Clegg snapped the people and pit and paddock scenes in breaks between...e.. brakes! He was on hand to deal with any issues customers were having and so mostly stuck around the pits and paddocks. There are a lot of people-photos , colour images of Parnell, Ascari, Villoresi, Gonzales and McLaren , often looking into or over a car being repaired.
This edition has more pages at 128 (instead of 114) and the colour reproduction is better and more vibrant in this edition , published in 2006. Very good condition book and jacket. It has a quite ornate signature on the title page but I cannot work out who it is!
