Summers' car was an ex F1 1.5 litre with a small block Chevy squeezed into the back and raced widely in British Formule Libre events in the mid-late 1960s and later in the first sean of F5000.
Summers died when the car blew a tyre at Snetterton in September 1970 and threw the car off the Norwich straight at top speed, throwing him out (he never wore belts)...
