Small softback profile of the famous Scottish motorcycle racing hero ("The Guthrie Memorial" is a well known landmark on the Isle of Man TT course to this day) . Jimmie raced in the 20s and 30s, , won 19 Grands Prix including 6 Isle of Man TT races and stood on the podium of a great many more, was European 500 cjhampion for three years ion a row and a works rider for both Norton and AJs. Sadly he died whjile leading the 1937 German GP at the Sachsenring (a track that later claimed Bill Ivy's life) . Super little 30 page document with numerous photos on a real 'Local Hero' Very good condition
