There are lots of various 'Guinness Guuide.." titles but this one is perticularly good as it goes beyond the usual F1 and Le Mans terms of reference and features F2, F3000, F3, Touring Car series, the worls sports car championship, Indy 500, Indycar(CART, USAC,AAA) championships, Tasman cup, Can Am, BMW Pro Car and a host of nartional series and races.
The section covering Italy will, for instance, show maps of the many versions of Monza used over the years, list the winners of the Monza GP (Zampierei won in 1927 with an Amilcar...) the Mugello road race , the Coppa Acerbo at Pescara (won in 1924 by a certain E Ferrari) and so forth. In the section on Japan you find the winners of the F2 series, the GT and sports car series, the one off WSPC event at Autopolis (won by a guy called Schumacher in a Mercedes...) and so forth.
