This differs from later books in the series (similat titles, different authors) covering the F1 series 1959-71, which it considers  in the"modern era" of rear/mid engined designs. In it's year-by-year form it does that very well with spectacular photos and lots of great colour. 237 large pages. Foxing on the inner covers, flyleaves and near pages. No jacket. Priced as a 'reading' book rather than a 'collectors' example.
