Photographic study of early 80s NASCAR racing (now SPRINT CUP) in the days of Earnhardt, Waltrip, Richmond, Gant, Petty, Pearson, Allison, Shepherd, Bonnett etc.
Lots of pit photos of cars being worked on by crews with far more oil on their hands than you would see now. Some wonderful gruesome close ups of repaired accident damage and quick fixes to keep the cars in the running, great action shots, portraits , atmosphere and fan shots plus several of the legendary "Miss Hurst" Linda Vaughan sporting her famously large breasts   -  a familiar sight in US racing circles in the late 70s and 80s - It's her, almost bursting out of her bra, on the front cover which is some respects sets the style for the book which is more about the atmosphere, people and showbiz of NASCAR than the actual racing
! Fine  condition book and very good, slightly rubbed jacket
