Delahaye Rene Dreyfus Brooklands 1938

Grand Prix Delahaye at Brooklands.

The regular driver Rene Dreyfus is seen here at the wheel. The car had won the Pau GP earlier in the season, sensationally beating the Mercedes Benz of Carracciola.

This photo is a recent print from an original amateur snapshot taken from the top of the pits on the Campbell Circuit which was the extra road circuit built at Brooklands in the mid 30s.

The date is 28 Sept 1938 I believe.
