This is a book of reminisences by the veteran, in fact pioneer motoring writer who was there at the time of the first surge in motoring at the end of the Vitorian era. . He was with S.F.Edge on the first Napier on the 1900 Thousand Mile Trial. He mixed with and knew all the pioneer Motorists and his sharp memory and very readable script make this a classic to treasure. 236 pages and many rarely seen photos. The book is in very good condition aside from some and jacket are in good condition but has some tap reside on the inner covers and end papers from previously taped-in place jacket. The jacket is not longer taped in place and in complete but ha some repairs across the upper front edge and also a few areas of tape staining coming through from the back where old repairs are evident.
