456 pages. The contributions come from such luminaries as Montagu, Salomons, Mecredy, Rolls, Sturmey, Worby-Beaumont, Edge & Jarrott, plus many more. With chapters on the History of the Motor Car (in 1902.),The choice of a Motor, The Charms of Driving in Motors, Automobile Clubs and Literature, The Motor Laws as they exist and Races & Trials. The book is good with some rubbing on the cover boards, mostly the hinges at the spine area, but generally a very tidy book for over 100 years! This example has the signature of motor racing author-historian Gerald Rose who wrote A RECORD OF MOTOR RACING.(1909) . One assumes that this must have been his own personal copy of this book.
