Obscure, little-used stadium that had a dog track around a shale  speedway track . The speedway team moved to Brafield around 1960 and the shale made way for concrete initially for karts and then stock cars under promoter Geoff Gough. All of that eventually disappeared under a grass playing field with just a few signs remaining of what was once there.
