300 pages of some of the very best true racing stories ever. Chapter 1 alone makes this book worth having : The last Mille Miglia and the end of an era. No photos but a number of good pen and ink drawings to illustrate each chapter along eityh circuit maps . Daley went o n to write and photograph THE CRUEL SPORT which was the inspiration for the Hollywood movie GRAND PRIX in 1966. .
Book fine but jacket is damaged along the lower front edge, a bit of creasing, some repair work. Nothing too obvious but certainly not a mint example and priced to reflect this.
